WTF! yes I said it, What the Friday, it is friday and it's time to sum up what worked through the week and what did not work and stay productive.

"The secret of change is not to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new."

Socrates

There is nothing worse than beating yourself over something that did not work and dwell on it too much, I must confess, I use to be my own worst critic. I had that problem until I chose to figure out a different way to approach life when snuff happens and began to focus my energy on what works.

We are all human and it is not hard to encounter difficulty and error when it comes to our work, business or life. It is also not difficult to create momentum, achieve and create progress.

As I mentioned before, I don't believe in New Year's resolutions, however I do believe in creating progress on the daily and weekly.

Here are 3 Sure Fire Ways to make the most of your week no matter what kind of week you had and create momentum in your business and life.

1. Run a Quick Summary- Take the time to look back only to summarize what worked and what did not work. When we focus on a shorter span of time, we are able to adjust accordingly and continue to emphasize on progress, no need to be perfect. You can choose to write it down, evaluate or make a mental notation of your weekly progress.

2. Celebrate and be Thankful- Everything in life happens for a reason, when we learn to accept and learn versus work against the flow of events, frustration sets in. Learn from what does not work and embrace what works. I am always thankful for my frustrations and triumphs, for without either one of them, let that be external or internal, I would never learn.

3. Plan for the Week Ahead- Now that you know what works and what does not work, plan for the rest of your week, momentum is created not on dwelling on what was, but on creating what will be. No need to take on a full body makeover, working on one to three goals for the week will be plenty to begin to create the changes necessary in your biz or life.

Weekend is here, YEAH! and it's time to summarize, plan for the week and take the time to relax and enjoy life.

Summarize the week and enjoy the weekend! TGIF

Dare To Be Great
