What the heck is that anyway?

Clarity is exactly what the word says, by definition it is the quality or state of being clear, definition provided by Merriam-Webster dictionary.

Why is Clarity important? Well it is very important to be clear on our goals, vision and purpose in order to know and understand direction, without clarity there is no direction.

For example, an illness or diagnosis cannot be cured or managed if there is no clarity. I can say that since I am a nurse. You don't want a health care provider to have unclear or uncertain hypothesis on how to best manage your care any more than you don't want your pilot to not know where he is going.

This is not to say Health Care Providers are not experts, however when it comes to health care and management, you want the best that is out there. If you want to get somewhere, you want your pilot to know where he/she is going.

Clarity is important in goal setting, when you become clear on what you wish to accomplish, you my friends are a step ahead on everyone else who is still pondering where they want to go.

Clarity provides us with the one thing we know we want to achieve and as we shift our minds and intentions to a specific goal, our lives and focus direct us into everything and anything that will provide us with the tools to achieve exactly that.

When we know and understand our intentions, we are better able to wear the blinders to all the distractions that have the potential of impeding our purpose and success.

Have you figured out what it is exactly that you want to achieve this year? If you have not by now, that is okay, the best part about clarity is that you can choose to develop this important skill at any time.

I want you to take the time and write down on your calendar or piece of paper the top 6 Goals for the year, weigh loss, meaningful relationships, time with family, vacation, job advancement, education, skill improvement, rest, sleep I don't know what your goals are but I want you to write down any goal, even if it sounds CRAZY.

Remember, nothing ever comes from staying in your comfort zone so I want you to burn the bridges of the status quo that has not worked up to this point and write down exactly what you want to accomplish this year.

Your Clarity is your Golden Ticket to your success this year and for years to come, when you know where you are going, you know what to work on, what you need to learn, who to reach out to, who to surround yourself with and what to focus on.

Put your energy on all that you wish to achieve this year, set clear goals and on our next chat we will talk about setting a plan of action for each of your goals.

Remember CRAZY goals are what makes the Steve Jobs, Oprah, J.K. Rowling, Spielberg, Steven King, Thomas Edison, Michael Jordan, Colonel Sanders, Einstein and so many more of the world.
