"If you don't get your mind handled, it is not going to turn out well for you."
Iyanla Vanzant
I am.... two of the most important words in our vocabulary. They can build or they can break, they can create progress or stagnation, the form we choose to utilize these two words in our personal vocabulary will literally determine who we are and what we are about.
The words we tell ourselves will define how we live, who we identify with, what we identify with, how we present ourselves, the way we speak, behave, and react in any given situation.
If your words do not build, create, make you feel good about yourself, empower you, nourish you, make you feel vibrant, content, capable, able, and productive, it is time to fire the negative committee that is living rent free in your mind.
Words are powerful and they can be the affirmation to create the world we wish to live in. When we speak ill of ourselves, it is stemmed from a belief system that does not require our full credit, yet for some reason, we choose to give that negative illness life.
Negative words can also stem from the environment we grow up in or the environment we live in. We can essentially make those words part of our life and pass them on to our future generations. The good news, anything we learn we can essentially unlearn, or better yet, learn a more productive way of speaking.
We can say I am smart enough, I am good enough, I am beautiful, I create abundance, I am love, I am learning, I am growing, I am, not in spite of, sometimes, someday, although, but simply under the understanding that I am good enough as I am in this moment and anything that is further created will be an opportunity to capitalize on the same.
Our bodies feel different when we speak in productive words, our spirit lifts, our vibrations raises, our intentions are different, our perception is transformed.
If you were waiting for permission to petition a good word on your behalf, here it is, you have permission to speak nothing but empowerment into your personal life.
You don't have to wait for tomorrow, don't have to wait until you loose weight, get more money, change, put makeup on, dress up, you simply have to get up, look in the mirror and say.
I am....
The rest is not up to your neighbor, your spouse, your friends, coworkers, your likes, your comments on your social media feed, your social life.
The rest is up to YOU.
