I am back in my apt. Post vacation, to say I was inspired to keep writing is an understatement.

I brought back more than a 10lb weight gain as I came back from vacation. 😉

I can tell you that I brought back resources, people I met, ideas for my writing & blog, a better understanding of how to serve you, the reader.

One of the things I notice is the excitement of experiencing something NEW. It happens every single New Year.  After all, that's probably when the fitness industry is at its most profitable.

We vow to finally exercise & lose weight, finally this year things will be different. This will be my year?

One phenomenon that happens to be a recurrent story I happen to observe is that by mid year, most people have not followed through their New Year's resolution.

No Wonder,

They go to a job they dislike, purchase things to impress people who don't really matter, get in debt just to have things, drive the same car, don't take a vacation, continue to be unhappy or uncomfortable with the way they lead their personal & professional lives.

You may hear some say, this year will be different, but just an observation, we are technically a little bit past New Year. 🤔

No worries, do not despair, not all is lost.  In case you are Wondering how the heck to get back in the saddle, Please do not be saddened at the inability to ride and have to wait until next year.

The Good News?

You don't need a New Year's Resolution to start doing instead of wishing & thinking.  It is not too late to figure out what Rocks and Floats your boat and get started.

I will share my  Top 6 Juicy Secrets on Staying on Course and Creating the Life of my Dreams, Goals, and personal Vision for my present and future.

1.  I am not always right or correct and I quite like it that way.

I learn from my success as much as I learn from my personal failures.  Failures make a great Blog post while success is something I come to enjoy and celebrate.

Greatness is something I come to appreciate in other people as well as myself.  It's not about the road blocks and imperfections as much as it is about how you cope with each and every experience.

It does not mean it is always right, but rest assure giving up will not be part of that vocabulary, and that is a good thing.

Your mistakes and road blocks are always an opportunity to learn and grow, not a decision to throw in the towel.

2.  Success is a very personal definition.

True happiness and success is achieved when you set goals with vision and time frame.  Success is also defined by what fulfills you at a personal and professional level.

I could not to save my life create work that would not be meant in some form for the geater good.  It's not in my

DNA.

The best part about it, you don't have to do work you dislike either.  Success comes when you tap into your voice and define what that means to you personally.

What looks good for one may not to the other.  I encourage you to not compromise nor sell out until you figure out what that means to you.

3. Different Resources are beneficial to your growth.

There is nothing worse than a mind that cannot be expanded by new ideas or different opinions. I believe that is called a closed mind but that is a whole other post on itself.  The point is, if you are not willing to expand and learn in some form, you may miss out on amazing people and wisdom along your journey.

4. Stay away from the negative People in your life.

When someone is ill intentioned towards your growth, let that be a person, place or thing, why on earth would you continue to make excuses as to why you continue to socialize?

Find your tribe and love them hard.  You don't need a bunch of people, it's like setting out a toddler in a glass store, nothing will stay safe and the poor kid will end up with nothing but broken glass.

You don't have to be rude, simply choose not to make them a priority in your list.

When you focus on the negativity, you loose and miss out on all the joy, happiness, love, success, and enjoyment this life has to offer.

Makes sense to me to Learn to Erase and Replace as necessary, your life, progress, success and happiness is far more important than any BS.

At the end of your day, always ask yourself, is it true, kind, necessary, do I need this in my life, and will it create progress?

When the answer is yes more than once keep it, when it becomes a negative affirmation or block, it's  time to evaluate and unprioritize as necessary.

5.  There is no such a thing as the right time to get started.

Goals can be set any time, any day, month or year.  The best way to complete anything you set your mind to is to set a goal with a time frame.  You may or may not achieve it within that time frame but I guarantee you that you will learn something along the way.  You only truly fail when you don't try, give up, or live through wishful thinking. Action Creates results.

Waiting for a New Year to get started?  Why not start today?  by New Year's you may find yourself setting New Goals because guess what, you where ahead of the crowd that is still waiting, wishing, hoping, dreaming, and not doing a darn thing about creating results.

6.  You hold the pen to your Story

The only person that is responsible for creating the present and future you wish to experience is you.

You don't need anyone's permission to think, create, act and do.  I encourage you to speak of what you wish to create instead of limiting yourself.

Think of it this way, if you had 3 last wishes and you were not here tomorrow, would you change anything?  Would you have more courage, would you be brave, would you say and speak of what you really mean without inhibitions?

If the answer is yes, I suggest you get started, today.

You don't need a New Year to begin creating the life you want and deserve, but you do need to start.
